The annual campaign for vaccinations against flu usually takes place from October - March for those age 65 and over as well as those living with certain long term conditions or in the ‘At Risk’ group of patients. Please contact the surgery to book an appointment. If you are unsure about qualifying, please ask at reception and they will be able to advise you.

If you are over 65 and haven't had your pneumococcal vaccination, you will be offered this as well.
Jon Cooke, a Chartered & State Registered Physiotherapist has joined the practice. He is available for private consultations at the clinic on a Wednesday morning.
Asthma reviews can either be done in the Long Term Conditions clinic (Wednesday morning) or if unable to attend then - an asthma review can be booked in other nurse clinics
The INR clinic is held on Thursday mornings. An appointment is needed

Family Planning / HRT / Smear Clinic
A full range of family planning services including hormone replacement therapy and preconception advice is offered by our practice.
We advise all women between the ages of 25 and 49 to have a cervical smear every 3 years, and those between 50 and 64 to have one every 5 years. Please book an appointment with a practice nurse.
Patients are sent a reminder letter to make an appointment when their review is due.
We like to see all our Diabetic patients annually, with a 6 month interim 'mini-review' with our health care assistant. Our Dietitian is available to see all our Diabetic patients on a regular basis.
Patients who are confined to their homes and need assistance may arrange with their doctor for a district nurse to call. The hospital will normally arrange for the nurse to call on patients discharged from hospital but who still need nursing at home.
